Are there any restrictions for participating in a Stretchworks class? The beauty of Stretchworks is that there are no restrictions to participating in a class because the exercises have been devised to be adapted to each individual and their abilities. Are there any restrictions for participating in the Stretchworks DVD?In general, No; but if you have any health or injury concerns you can always go to the section on detailed individual exercises before running the programmes. It will give you options about how to adapt each exercise to suit your needs. But the rule of thumb is: only take a stretch or an exercise to where it feels comfortable. If in doubt you can always contact Alison on alison@stretchworks.co.uk for specific advice. Also, it is not necessary to run the full 35 minute or 10 minute programme. You can always just take whatever exercise benefits you most from the detailed individual exercise section, and put a few of them together at your own pace and in your own way. Sometimes less is more and you can always build up to more exercises when you are ready. |
